A ten-day entertaining workshop for the understanding of English Language for students of "Mamalouka Foreign Languages Schools" that completed the A senior and B senior classes.

Programme of the workshop : everyday 10.00 - 13.00

Price : 70,00 euros

Applications: 20/5 - 10/6/2010 in the secretary of the school.

This experiential workshop is a creative and productive approach of language compared to the ordinary teaching methods followed in class.

It helps in practice of oral communication in foreign language, in a pleasant way and at the same time in a fun way. So we achieve the knowledge, not through the traditional way of teaching (by using paper, pencil, board and pens), but through game and entertaining activities. The child is the receiver of the messages, but it also participates in an active way, as it holds the leading role, it is acquainted with the language, obtains self-confidence as it communicates with the other kids in foreign language and not in his native language.

So we can all understand that through entertainment we manage to acquire knowledge and we practice the foreign language in the best possible way.

This workshop was written originally in 1990 by Mrs. Eleftheria Mamalouka in French Language. It was applied with success for 4-5 years only in French, and next it was translated in English.

It can also be translated in any other foreign language.

It is adressed to children that have been using the language for at least 2-3 years and it is a flexible workshop, because it can be broadened, so as to be applied to young people aged 17-18 years old with perfect use of language. So every time it is adjusted depending on the age of the participants.
