PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Organisation and Accommodation

We are organising the summer camp for the third year in row. It has been created by a group of educators with experience in both formal and non-formal education in various European countries, including Greece, Switzerland, Turkey and Hungary.

Pantheon Intercultural Summer Camp aims at offering high quality educational and recreational services. This year’s camp is hosted by the Hotel Philippion Beach, a four-star hotel complex on the Halkidiki peninsula. Participants will be accommodated in a comfortable environment, with special attention on healthy food.

 

 

 

Crossing Limits” is the title of this year’s summer camp. To enhance our confidence and life skills, we want to explore the question of limits and opportunities on a personal, social and cultural level.

The themes of the daily activity sessions include:

• communication (verbal and non-verbal)
• respect & tolerance for the other
• individual responsibility
• respect for nature and the world around
• cooperation and enjoyment
• self-care

Learning goals

Pantheon Intercultural Summer Camp shows participants how they can achieve goals. By the end of the camp, everybody will have something to show and tell. Whether this will be a dance performance or the decision to keep contact with a new friend by e-mail, the achievement and efforts will be always warmly appreciated by the educators.

When planning the camp’s educational programme, we have kept in mind some key competences that our participants will develop during their stay.
